Answers to commonly asked questions
The Elo rating system is a method for calculating team strength based on match performance. The same system is used in chess and other sports worldwide. Every team starts with a rating of 1500, and the rating goes up when you win and down when you lose.
Every new team starts with a rating of 1500. This is a neutral rating that allows the system to calculate the team's true strength after a few matches.
The amount of rating change depends on several factors: (1) Rating difference between the two teams - winning against a stronger team = bigger gain, (2) Goal margin - winning by a large margin = more points, (3) Match type - friendly vs competitive, (4) K-Factor - maximum rating change limit.
No. Your rating will always go up when you win and down when you lose. Only the amount of change varies depending on factors like rating difference and goal margin.
K-Factor is the maximum rating change limit per match. For GengMantap, the K-Factor is 32. This means the maximum rating can go up or down by 32 points in a single match.

After you log a match, the system will send a confirmation request to the opponent team. They have 48 hours to confirm or dispute. If there's no response after 48 hours, the match will be auto-confirmed.
No, you cannot edit after submitting. If there's an error, the opponent team can dispute and an admin will review. This is to prevent data manipulation.
This double-confirmation system ensures that match results are valid and agreed upon by both teams. This prevents manipulation and ensures the integrity of the rating system.
The opponent team has 48 hours to confirm or dispute a match. After 48 hours, if there's no response, the match will be auto-confirmed and ratings will be updated.
If you dispute, the match will go into 'Disputed' status and an admin will review. Both teams can upload evidence (photos, videos) to support their claims. The admin will make a decision based on the evidence.
No, you cannot. After confirmation, the match is final and ratings have been updated. If there's a serious issue, contact an admin for review.
